Decaf Colombia Pink Bourbon
Afterglow Coffee CooperativeAbout This Coffee
This decaf coffee is a Pink Bourbon variety from Huila, Colombia. The Pink Bourbon varietal was recently discovered to be an Ethiopian Landrace rather than a Bourbon relative as previously thought. The coffee is decaffeinated using the E.A. (Ethyl Acetate) process, also called Sugarcane process, which uses naturally occurring ethyl acetate from sugar cane to bind and extract caffeine. The processing facility is located in Colombia. The coffee exhibits fruit qualities in the cup.
