This coffee is grown in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, a mountainous area known for producing high-quality Strictly Hard Bean coffee. Cultivated at altitudes between 1,200 and 2,000 meters in rich volcanic soil, this coffee benefits from an ideal climate of sunlight and precipitation. It features a creamy body and balanced acidity, with distinct flavor notes of plum and chocolate.

Grain & Grind

Grain & Grind opened its first coffee shop at the start of 2018 beneath the old Victoria Infirmary buildings on Battlefield Road in Glasgow. A roaster was installed in that original shop and later relocated to Inverness, where master roaster John now hand roasts in small batches across a range of over twenty offerings. The company has grown to eight café locations spread between Glasgow and Inverness. They also run a wholesale supply business providing beans, brew bags, and equipment to cafés, restaurants, and hotels, partnering with San Remo for espresso machines and Mahlkönig for grinders.
