A dark-roast blend from Commonplace Coffee, currently built from beans sourced at Finca Mina Rica in Colombia. Dark and full-bodied, it was created for diner-style drip coffee or French press. Tasting notes listed are baking chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and molasses. Sold as whole bean (and in multiple grind options) in 12oz, 2lb, and 5lb sizes.

Julie and TJ Fairchild's 2003 leap of faith has evolved into Pittsburgh's most thoughtfully community-centered roasting operation, now spanning seven locations with 65+ employees roasting 2,500 pounds weekly. Their philosophy, inspired by a Walt Whitman poem, centers on creating "solid ground for all" through coffee that serves as genuine neighborhood infrastructure.
